We were contacted by the owner of the site to see if we had a client who would be interested in purchasing the site. We then introduced the site to one of our retained clients who purchased it and subsequently instructed us to refurbish and manage the site.
What we did
We project managed the refurbishment of the site which included installing new doors, removing all asbestos roofs and replacing them with new high-quality flat roofs with a 15-year guarantee. We fully optimised the rental income from the site by marking out 7 new parking bays to rent out and advertised the garages and parking bays to potential tenants.
The site has been turned from being very unsightly area with very bad parking issues into an attractive looking site, with 24/7 accessible parking for residents. This site is now 100% let (6 garages + 7 parking bays) producing in excess of £6,500 pa for the landlord.
